Suriya, the renowned star actor from South Indian cinema, was all set to arrive this October with the pan-Indian film, Kanguva. However, the film’s theatrical release was postponed to November because Suriya and team decided not to compete with Superstar Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan, which is also scheduled to be released on October 10, 2024. Meanwhile, an interesting buzz is growing about Suriya’s 45th film.
Currently, the Gajini fame actor is working on his 44th film under the direction of Karthik Subbaraj. Touted to be an action thriller, the film’s title has not been announced, but recently, a glimpse from the film was released on the occasion of Suriya’s birthday, and it was liked by everyone, raising the anticipation around the film. Suriya also announced a big project with director Vetrimaaran, titled Vaadivaasal. The fans expected their favorite hero to join the sets of Vetri’s film after completing Suriya 44. However, it is being said that the actor will work in one more film before uniting with Vetrimaaran. According to the latest reports from Kollywood media portals, Suriya will be working with director Atlee Kumar for his 45th film.
Atlee scored a massive blockbuster with his first Bollywood film, Jawan, which was released last year. After that, there were many reports of his upcoming film, but none were officially confirmed. Even now it is being reported that the director will work with another big Bollywood hero, Salman Khan, and before this rumor was about to be certified, the news of Atlee working with Suriya has been doing the rounds in the industry circles. Kalanithi Maaran will produce this big budget film under Sun Pictures, and the sensational music director Anirudh Ravichander will compose the tunes.
