The HIT franchise, directed by Sailesh Kolanu, has made a mark with its two investigative thrillers, each offering a distinct approach through the differing mindsets of its protagonists. Vishwak Sen’s portrayal in the first part garnered mass appeal, while Adivi Sesh’s calm and composed approach in the second part has captivated netizens. This approach has contributed to the franchise’s commercial success.
Bankrolled by actor Nani, the franchise is set to continue with Nani taking the lead in the third installment. Nani, who previously made a brief appearance as Arjun Sarkaar in the climax of HIT 2, will now step into the role of a ferocious cop.
Sailesh Kolanu is known for presenting characters in a brutal yet convincing manner. Although his standalone film Saindhav did not fare well at the box office, his efforts were acknowledged, particularly for the antagonist role played by Nawazuddin Siddique.
HIT 3 will be Nani’s next project following the success of his previous film, Saripodha Sanivaaram, which is performing well at the box office. Filming for HIT 3 began today in Hyderabad, with the makers aiming for a release on May 1, 2025.
