Gulshan Devaiah’s 8 AM Metro OTT Release Details

Gulshan Devaiah and Saiyami Kher’s film, 8 A.M. Metro will be available for streaming on an OTT platform. Originally released in theaters on May 19, 2023, the movie can now be enjoyed online. Gulshan has revealed the details of when and where audiences can watch the unique friendship tale of Preetam and Iravati unfold. Directed by Raj Rachakonda, 8 A.M. Metro follows the story of two main characters who cross paths on a train platform.

Inside reports suggest that 8 AM Metro has been acquired by Zee5 at 8 A.M. The movie will soon be available on the platform. Within a week, audiences will have the opportunity to witness Gulshan and Saiyami’s unique friendship story. The release date for the film on Zee5 is May 10. Additionally, viewers can enjoy the movie for free. Sharing the information on Instagram, Gulshan wrote, “Yeh kahaani hai doh anjaan logon ki jo rojmarra ke safar mein bann gaye pakke dost!” The film, directed by Raj Rachakonda, revolves around the characters Preetam and Iravati, portrayed by Gulshan and Saiyami Kher, respectively. Preetam, dealing with depression and haunted by his past, crosses paths with Iravati, who experiences panic attacks while traveling on trains. As they embark on a train journey from Nanded to Hyderabad, they seize the opportunity to delve deeper into their own selves and discover more about each other. Released in 2023, the movie garnered positive reviews. Alongside Gulshan and Saiyami, the cast of 8 A.M. Metro includes Kalpika Ganesh, Umesh Kamat, Nimisha Nair, Dheer Charan Srivastav, Jay Jha, Madhu Swaminath, and Saurabh Dixit. Shot primarily inside a train, the film was made with an estimated budget of Rs. 4 crores.

The 8 A.M. Metro announcement follows the release of Sonali Bendre-Shriya Pilgaonkar-Jaideep Ahlawat’s The Broken News S2 by a day. Zee5 and another emerging digital platform, OTTplay Premium, will offer both The Broken News 2 and 8 A.M. Metro starting on May 10.
