Actor Ajith Kumar has been confirmed to collaborate with director Adhik Ravichandran on the upcoming movie Good Bad Ugly. The production team unveiled the second-look poster of the film on social media. Good Bad Ugly is set to hit the screens in January 2025, coinciding with the Pongal festival.
The latest glimpse of the film Good Bad Ugly, featuring Ajith Kumar in the lead role, was released on Thursday. Directed by filmmaker Adhik Ravichandran, known for his previous work on the movie Mark Antony starring Vishal, the new poster showcases Ajith in a salt-and-pepper appearance, dressed in a striped white shirt with a red scarf around his neck. Additionally, a dragon tattoo is visible on his hand. The shooting of the movie Good Bad Ugly is currently in progress, with a planned release date set for Pongal 2025 in January. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the same production company behind the Pushpa film franchise, the film will feature music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Abhinandhan Ramanujam is the cinematographer, and Vijay Velukutty is the editor. The filmmakers have yet to announce the additional cast members for Good Bad Ugly. According to reports, Netflix has secured the digital streaming rights for the film for a substantial amount of Rs 95 crore.
Ajith Kumar is also working with filmmaker Magizh Thirumeni of Thadam fame for a film titled Good Bad Ugly. The film, currently under production and backed by Lyca Productions, is speculated to have a release for Diwali this year. Produced by Lyca Productions, the film will be an action thriller with Anirudh Ravichander scoring the music. The post-theatrical streaming rights have been bagged by Netflix. A release date for the film is yet to be announced. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, and Arav among others, adding to the intrigue.
