On Saturday, in celebration of actor Vijay’s 50th birthday, the producers of his highly anticipated film The GOAT- Greatest of All Time, unveiled a brief teaser from the movie. This sneak peek has heightened the anticipation among fans for the film, which director Venkat Prabhu helms.
The brief 50-second preview, The GOAT Bday Shots, commences with a pursuit in a foreign location. A group of individuals is seen chasing two men on bicycles. Eventually, we are granted a glimpse of the duo’s identity. It turns out to be none other than Vijay and his younger self. The preview concludes by conveying birthday wishes to Vijay while also showcasing a series of rapid shots from the film. The highly anticipated movie “The GOAT” is currently one of the most awaited films in Tamil cinema. As the release date approaches, expectations continue to rise. This film may also signify the end of Vijay’s acting career, as he declared his entry into politics earlier this year. Based on the teaser, it seems likely that Vijay will portray two different versions of himself – an older and a younger one.
Venkat Prabhu is at the helm of The GOAT, which is scheduled for release on September 5. The movie features Sneha, Mohan, Laila, Prashanth, Prabhudheva, Ajmal Ameer, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and others in prominent roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music for the film. The filmmakers are also planning to unveil the second single, “Chinna Chinna Kangal,” sung by Vijay and the late singer Bhavatharini. Netflix has acquired the post-theatrical rights for The GOAT. The movie is produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh, and Kalpathi S Suresh under the AGS Entertainment banner. Cinematographer Siddhartha Nuni captured the visuals, and Venkat Raajen edited the film. Dilip Subbarayan choreographed the stunts, and Rajeevan is the production designer.
