Ganesh (Anand Deverakonda) is a thief who decides to become a billionaire after his girlfriend leaves him. He accepts an assignment to steal a rare and costly diamond from a jewelry store in Hyderabad. The robbery goes wrong and the diamond lands in a Ganesha idol belonging to a Kurnool politician who is taking a different gamble with the idol. The rest of the film is about how Ganesh gets the diamond back.
Anand Deverakonda’s performance was decent, but his pronunciation appears odd in some scenes. Pragathi Srivasthava is attractive, but she has little to offer. Nayan Sarika was just fine. Jabardasth Emmanuel was fine. Vennela Kishore’s character was moderately eccentric and could only bring some amusement. Raj Arjun, the villain, is uninteresting. Satyam Rajesh and the others were alright.
Gam Gam Ganesha’s plot is decent and explores three themes: fear, greed, and conspiracy. Though there are no fresh movements in the film, the narrative manages to engage with reasonable fun parts and nice twists in the second half. Both the halves have dragged parts and impactful scenes.
There are many characters/actors apart from Anand Deverakonda in Gam Gam Ganesha. All the characters have link with the main story, and they contribute to the entertaining/thrilling moments of the film. The pre interval episode raises the anticipation and the final 20 minutes of the film work well and give a satisfactory feel.
The initial moments in the first half do not impress as the love track looks artificial. Until the robbery track starts, the film moves on a slow pace. Moreover, in the latter part of the film, the initial parts of cat and mouse game between villain group and hero could have been better. An unnecessary duet song comes across like a speed breaker.
