Camellia Productions officials have been diligently working on their new Bengali OTT platform, Fridaay, following the success of Hoichoi, Addatimes, and Klikk. After more than a year of preparation, the platform is set to launch on July 27. Fridaay will not only feature Camellia Productions’ films but also a variety of fresh content, including several web series directed by various filmmakers.
The platform is set to launch seven new web series, including Unishe April, directed by Arindam Sil; Necro, directed by Deep Modak; Potash by Koushik Kar; Ami Nandini, by Arindam Chakraborty; Lady Chatterjee by Sagnik Chatterjee, Bhalobasha by Abu Hayat Mamud, and Night of Crime by Kamaleswar Mukherjee.
Several reports have been published regarding the series that will be released in the coming years. Debaloy Bhattacharya is set to release two series, Matangi directed by Dipanjana Suranjana Chanda and Soumik Chatterjee, Ojha by Abhirup Ghosh, and Dharmasangkat by Souvik Guha and Saheen Akhter on this platform in the future. Another project by Arindam Sil, Saheb Bibi Joker, Joydeep Mukherjee’s Missing Link, and Bibi Baxy will also be available here. Sreelekha Mitra will be directing a series titled Supari Killer, while Srijit Mukherji will be directing a series called Renaissance on this platform.
