Suriya’s upcoming film Kanguva, directed by Siva, is slated to hit the screens this Dussehra 2024. Despite delays in production, the film has garnered significant buzz, thanks to the intriguing content teased through a glimpse and posters. The first single from the film, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, has also gained good traction.
Now, the makers are elevating the promotions by announcing a major update: they have decided to release the trailer cut as early as possible. While the film is set to release in October, in a bold move, the makers are planning to drop the teaser on August 12th.
Releasing the trailer earlier has been a long-standing trend in Hollywood and Bollywood, but it’s a rare occasion in South Indian cinema. Kanguva is now setting the tone for this trend. Disha Patani plays the female lead, and Bobby Deol will be seen as the antagonist in the film.
