Dunki Movie 1st and 2nd Half Report

Dunki First half: Average

The story revolves around five members, including Shah Rukh Khan, from an Indian village aiming to immigrate to England to solve their financial problems. Despite the simple subject, director Rajkumar Hirani skillfully integrates humor and emotions, enhancing the narrative. However, some scenes feel forced and slightly dragged due to the straightforward plot.

The film’s strength lies in the performances of the five characters, with Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu displaying good on-screen chemistry. Taapsee excels in her role, particularly in comedic timing.

The IELTS exam scene provides hilarious moments, keeping the audience laughing. The interval takes an emotional turn, leading to the route Dunki.

So far, the film is average, considering the simplicity of the story, and the second half’s outcome remains to be seen.

Dunki 2nd half: Bad

Well, at least the director adhered to the Dunki operation for the first 30 minutes or so and altered its course; otherwise, it would have led to an even more disastrous ride. However, the last 30 minutes of the film are irritating, and it concludes on a very bad note.

Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu delivered commendable performances.

Note:* It’s a personal opinion. It will not be based on it’s film run or the talk on the other side.
