Kriti Sanon is entering the production field with Do Patti. The film is one of the most anticipated OTT releases from Bollywood. Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, the movie happens to be the first film of Kriti Sanon as a producer. The interesting thing is the starlet is playing a double role in the film, and the renowned actress Kajol plays a crucial role in the film.
The Do Patti trailer was released on October 14th. Kriti Sanon took to her official social media accounts to drop the video and hoped her fans would like it. The makers of Do Patti are confident that the film will enthrall the viewers with a narrative that is filled with twists, turns, rivalry, and love. Kajol appears as a police officer in Do Patti, while Kriti has a double role in the film, as said above. She appears as Saumya Sood and Shailee, and Shaheer Sheikh (known as Arjun in Mahabarat serial) portrays the character of Dhruv Sood. Written by Kanika Dhillon, Do Patti tells the story of two sisters who have deeply buried secrets with each other, and their lives turn in unexpected ways when a police officer meets them while investigating an attempt to murder a case.
Kriti Sanon announced the film on July 5, 2023 and stated it, and she was very happy to collaborate again with Kajol and was excited about producing a film for a story that has been written by Kanika Dhillon. Kajol and Kriti Sanon will appear together after eight years of Dilwale, where they acted as sisters. Do Pattti will be available for online streaming from October 25, 2025.
