Suriya, the renowned star and actor of South Indian cinema, had made a unique image for himself by acting in versatile characters, and he also received the National Award for Soorarai Pottru (2020). His upcoming film, Kanguva, is a pan-Indian film made on a grand scale, and it was supposed to be released in theaters on October 10, 2024, but it has been postponed to avoid clashing with Superstar Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan, which is also scheduled to be released in theaters on the same day. The fans of Suriya were heavily disappointed with the postponement of Kanguva, but it looks like they are in for a big treat as the latest reports suggest that the actor will take part in the biggest franchise of Bollywood.
The Dhoom series is one of the most loved series/franchise in Bollywood, and audiences love the big brand action parts in the series. Dhoom 3, the last film in the franchise, was released in theaters in 2013, and since then there have been multiple reports and gossips about the fourth installment of the franchise. The recent rumors have it that Suirya will play the antagonist role in Dhoom 4. Though there is no official confirmation about the news, it is exciting his fans.
Suriya is currently staying in Mumbai, and it was also reported that he will make his Bollywood entry with a film on Karna from Mahabharata under the direction of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. The close sources of Suriya did not approve this new report, and as said above, there were so many reports about Dhoom 4 in the past ten years but none came true. So we cannot be sure about Suriya’s involvement in Dhoom 4 until the official announcement comes from the makers.
