The extra shows have added the required boost to the film’s box office prospects, and the film collected 135 crore gross at the worldwide box office on its first day.
Devara has gathered a massive 75 crore gross from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film had massive ticket hikes and early shows in Andhra Pradesh, which the previous biggies did not have, and it became an added advantage for the film. The film also collected excellent numbers from overseas, and the overall gross from the overseas territories will be 40 crores. Devara: Part One now stands at the fifth position on the all-time highest grossers list of Telugu cinema. The rest of the films on the list are RRR, Baahubali: The Conclusion, Kalki: 2898 AD, and Salaar: Part One: Ceasefire. The trade expects Devara to continue its Supeb run and have a strong first weekend at the box office.
