Devara: Part one, the latest action drama starring NTR, is set for a good challenge in its second weekend. Released on September 27th, the Pan Indian film opened to a humongous day 1 and had a superb first weekend. Though it had seen drops in collections thereafter, the film was able to use the Gandhi Jayanti holiday on Wednesday and collected 300 crore gross at the worldwide box office.
On its 8th day, Devara collected nearly 3 crores, and the total worldwide gross for 8 days will be 303 crores. The trade eagerly awaits how the film will perform on Saturday (today) and Sunday. Apart from Sree Vishnu’s SWAG, there is no new film to compete with Devara, and the film can use this advantage and mint good numbers at the box office in these two days. Meanwhile, Devara became the seventh film from the Telugu film industry to cross 300 crore gross worldwide in its first week.
