NTR’s Devara saw a big drop in its numbers on the fourth day. After keeping fans waiting for six years, NTR released a solo movie in the form of Devara: Part 1. The action drama was released in theaters worldwide on September 27, 2024, amidst massive expectations. The film had a mammoth opening at the box office as it had extensive midnight and early morning shows in Telugu states, which made it gather almost 150 crores on the first day.
After a huge weekend, the drop in the collections is expected for any big movie. Devara also saw considerable drops in its numbers on Monday. The film was released in as many theaters in Telugu states, so the occupancies were very minimal on the morning/noon shows, but the situation got better by the evening. The good thing for Devara is the film was able to show some decent hold in North India and overseas. For four days, the film has collected over 260 crore gross at the worldwide box office.
Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara: Part 1 stars Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Srikanth, Prakash Raj, Kalaiyarasan, and others in crucial roles. The latest sensational music director, Anirudh Composer, composed the film’s music. Set in the imaginary coastal lands, Devara’s first part tells the story of a man who becomes a synonym of fear to his villagers as they begin to establish crime as their lifestyle.
