Devara, the latest action drama of NTR, had a decent second day at the box office. The film had an exceptional start on its first day as the fans of NTR arranged a record number of midnight shows for their favorite hero’s film, and that helped the box office prospects of the film. So, it was expected that the film would see some drops after such a humongous day, but overall, Devara’s second day’s box office performance was satisfactory.
The Telugu States produced around 25 crore gross for the film, while the rest of the regions in South India, like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala’s combined gross will be around 8 crore. The North India region contributed with a gross of 11 crore. So, the overall India gross for Devara on day 2 stands at 44 crore. The film also had an outstanding first day at the box office at the overseas market, but it saw an unexpected drop in the collections on the second day. The overseas gross for 2 days is 53 crore, and Devara’s worldwide gross for 2 days is 204 crore.
Today, the trade expects a strong performance from Devara, as Sunday’s figures will be very crucial for the film’s total run. The Andhra areas somehow did not live up to the expectations on the second day, and Devara’s future run also depends on the performance of these regions.
