Demonte Colony 2, the Tamil horror thriller, is now streaming on OTT. Starring Arulnithi and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead roles, the super hit film has made its OTT debut after keeping the fans waiting for a while. The film is now available for streaming on ZEE5, the popular Indian digital platform.
The film is made as a sequel to the 2015 release Demonte Colony, which was also a good hit at the box office. Demonte Colony 2 was released in theaters on August 15, 2024, and received positive reviews along with superb collections. The film collected more than Chiyaan Vikram and Pa Ranjith’s Thangalaan in Tamil Nadu and shocked everyone. Following such a good and successful theatrical run, the film has started streaming on ZEE5 now.
Demonte Colony 2 is not a standalone film, and it is a straight continuation from the first part, as Ajay Gnanamuthu put an interesting link to the first and second films. The film, like the first part, revolves around a dangerous spirit that resides in a haunting building in an area called Demonte Colony, and it never leaves anyone if they come to the building and touch its necklace. While the first part mostly concentrates on a group of four friends experiencing horrific incidents because of the spirit, the second part introduces several other characters and links it with the first part’s story.
