After scoring a success with Vijay’s Leo, Director Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is taking a break from his Loki Universe, is now working on a standalone project with Superstar Rajinikanth titled Coolie. The initial glimpse of Rajinikanth has teased fans with his stylish avatar.
As production for the film is set to begin soon, the production house Sun Pictures has started introducing several other characters who will be part of Coolie. The first announcement featured Soubin Shahir, who has joined the film and will be seen as Dayal.
Next came a surprise: Star Actor Akkineni Nagarjuna has been onboarded for a pivotal role in the film. The first look poster, showcasing him as Simon, has ignited mass appeal, with reports indicating that his character may have partial negative shades.
While the excitement over these announcements was still fresh, Sun Pictures dropped another bombshell by revealing that actress Shruti Haasan, daughter of Kamal Haasan and the Salaar Beauty, is also part of the film as Preeti. Reports suggest that many more surprises are in store for Coolie.
