Committee Kurrollu, a small film released last Friday, has surprised everyone with its excellent performance at the box office. Starring newcomers in lead roles, this village drama has turned out to be a profitable venture for the makers. According to the trade experts, Committee Kurrollu has gathered an impressive number of Rs 8 crores gross worldwide after five days of its release.
Renowned actor Sai Kumar played a crucial role in the film. Yadhu Vamsi directed Committee Kurrollu, which has been appreciated for its genuine and heartful content. After gaining more footfalls on the second and third day, Committee Kurrollu performed decently, even on weekdays. Niharika Konidela, the famous actress, has produced the film. Reportedly, the demand for OTT rights of Committee Kurrollu has seen rise after the release. According to the reports, Committee Kurrollu’s makers were approached by two popular platforms, but they are yet to make a confirmed decision.
Committee Kurrollu, the film’s story, is about a group of eleven childhood friends who part ways because of a minor issue in their youth days. Star Hero like Mahesh Babu, master filmmaker SS Rajamouli, and Nani have congratulated this film, which has given Committee Kurrollu more exposure and reach. However, Committee Kurrollu will get affected from August 15, 2024, as big films like Mr. Bachchan and Double Ismart arrive in theaters along with multiple Bollywood movies.
