Chandu Champion is now streaming on OTT. Kartik Aaryan’s Sports Drama was made available on OTT in PPV (Pay Per View) Mode on July 27th on Prime Video. Now, the film is available for all the app’s regular subscribers, and they do not need to pay an additional amount to watch it.
Chandu Champion was released in theaters worldwide on June 14th. Though the critics appreciated the film and Kartik Aaryan’s Performance, the film failed to capitalize on the positive response at the box office. The film collected 63 Crore Net and 74 Crore Gross in India. The film was expected to be a game-changer in terms of content and box office performance from the initial stage, and the director, Kabir Khan, made sure that it got all the required craze and hype before its release. However, all the efforts went in vain as the film did not get the desired result.
Chandu Champion is a biopic based on the life of India’s First Para Olympic Gold Medalist, Murlikant Petkar. He was born on November 1, 1944, in the Peth Islampur area of Sangli, Maharashtra. Murlikant watched the film on its first day and was in tears afterward, as he felt it was a genuine adaptation of his life.
