Telugu actress Chandini Chowdary, renowned for her performances in movies such as “Colour Photo,” and her recent release “Gaami,” unexpectedly encountered online harassment following an open discussion. During an interview, a journalist inquired about her preferred IPL team. In response, Chandini expressed her desire to witness a live match before making a decision. As Andhra Pradesh does not possess a team, she has yet to choose one.
The journalist attempted to intercede and suggested, “Isn’t the Hyderabad team available? Why not choose it as your favorite?” Chandini persisted in her stance, stating, “I am a girl from Andhra, and we do not possess a team.” Her direct and sincere response promptly resulted in her receiving verbal attacks on social media from specific individuals in Telangana. They began to verbally assault her for earning a living in Hyderabad without supporting the local team, employing offensive language that cannot be reiterated here. This reaction from the netizens emphasizes the fact that even a basic viewpoint can elicit severe criticisms on social media.
The state division has been concluded, however, there are still individuals from both factions who remain isolated from reality. It is regrettable that these individuals have targeted a diligent woman simply for voicing her opinion. As previously mentioned, these individuals lack purpose and employment, resorting to incessantly harassing others. On social media, you can find many malicious comments against Chandini.
