The upcoming weeks are set to light up the box office with a couple of notable projects hitting the screens. On one side, the highly anticipated actor Nani leads in Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, directed by Vivek Athreya. On the other, actor Vijay is gearing up with G.O.A.T, directed by Venkat Prabhu.
The censor formalities have been completed for both films. Saripodhaa Sanivaaram has received a U/A certificate, with a reported runtime of 2 hours and 46 minutes. Nani recently revealed that the film revolves around an LIC agent who unleashes his rage only on Saturdays, aligning with the title theme. Priyanka Arul Mohan plays the female lead. The film is slated to hit screens on August 29, 2024.
Meanwhile, Vijay’s G.O.A.T has also received a U/A certificate, with a runtime of 2 hours and 59 minutes. Vijay will portray two different roles in this action entertainer: a mature father and a younger son. Meenakshi Chaudhary and Sneha are cast as the female leads. Compared to Vijay’s previous films, G.O.A.T has not generated much buzz due to its lackluster audio, but fans are hopeful for a turnaround once the film releases on September 5, 2024.
