Jayam Ravi is all set to entertain audiences with his latest film, titled Brother. The makers of the film shared the teaser on Saturday (September 22). Scheduled to be released in theaters this Diwali, the tease of Brother promises a fun-filled family drama.
Rajesh M directs the film, Brother, and it is also the first movie in the combination of actor and director. Touted to be a family drama with commercial elements, the film’s teaser opens with Jayam Ravi, who plays the character of Karthik, being asked what ambition is in life, and he answers that all he wants is to have his stomach full and a sleep of eight hours and to talk his heart out. The other characters are also introduced in the teaser with glimpses of comedy, songs, and drama. Jayam Ravi’s Brother will face competition with SivaKartikeyan’s Amaran at the box office.
Apart from Jayam Ravi, Brother also stars Priyanka Arul Mohan, Bhumika Chawla, VTV Ganesh, Natraj Subramanian, Rao Ramesh, Achyuth Kumar, Sarana Ponvannan, Seetha, Sathish Krishnan, MS Bhaskar, Suresh Chakravarthy, Vriddhi Visha, and Master Ashwin in crucial roles. Scene Media Entertainment PVT Ltd. backs the film with Harris Jayaraj being the music composer. The film’s dubbing works have been completed, and currently it is in the last leg of postproduction.
