Devara, the first solo film of NTR in the last six years, is scheduled to have a grand worldwide release on September 27, 2024. The film’s pre-release event was planned on a grand scale on Sunday, September 22nd, but unfortunately, the event got cancelled at the last minute due to security issues, much to the dismay of fans. However, the fans can be sure that their favorite hero’s film, Devara, is poised to have extraordinary openings at the box office, especially in Telugu states.
A few days ago, the Andhra Pradesh government granted the Devara team a hike of Rs 110 for single screens and Rs 135 for multiplexes. The film has been given the highest hike for any move in the Telugu film industry in the last 4 years, and the interesting thing is it has been allowed higher prices than RRR. Meanwhile, the Telangana government has issued the G.O. for the ticket rate hikes on Monday, September 23rd. According to the G.O., Devara will have 7 shows in Telangana on its first day, starting at 1 AM. The ticket rates will be hiked by Rs 100 in both single screens and multiplexes.
From the second day, Devara will have a total of five shows in Telangana State, and the ticket rates will be hiked by Rs 25 in single screens and Rs 50 in multiplexes. The film has already created revenue in overseas pre-sales, and the Telugu states will also produce a great opening at the box office, cementing the stamina of NTR as a star hero. The fans of NTR are now so happy, and they cannot wait for the theatrical release of Devara.
