Border 2 is one of the much anticipated films next year from Bollywood. The film is a sequel to JP Dutta’s Border (1997). The sequel of this war drama will have Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Varun Dhawan in the lead roles. Since its announcement, the film has become a topic of discussion among audiences and industry circles as well. According to the recent reports, Border 2 will go on to the floors in this November.
The leading media portals of Bollywood suggest that Border 2’s shooting will start on November 25 in North India. Interestingly, the film marks the first ever collaboration between producer Bhushan Kumar and JP Dutta. The film will be directed by Anurag Singh, and as said above, Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Varun Dhawan will play the lead roles, and it is obvious that they will appear as Indian Armed Forces officers in the film.
The closed sources to the film claim that the preproduction part of the film has taken a year and the film will commence the shooting on November 25, 2024. It is also being said that Border 2 will have its shoot in real locations as much as possible. The makers feel that this will allow the film to have an authentic and rustic feel. The film will complete its shoot in a timeline of 6 months, and recently, the producers announced that Border 2 will be released in theaters worldwide on Republic Day Weekend 2026.
