Boat, the latest rival drama from the Tamil film industry, is now streaming on OTT. The film stars famous comedy actor Yogi Babu in the lead role and started streaming on Aha Tamil. Interestingly, the film is also available for online streaming on another popular digital platform, Prime Video. Directed by Chimbudeven, Boat is made as a rival drama.
Yogi Babu’s Boat was released in theaters worldwide on August 1, 2024. It had a decent response upon its theatrical release, and it took two months for the film to arrive on the OTT field. Boat is set against the pre-independence backdrop, and the film’s story focuses on a group of people who come from different stages of life and get stranded in the middle of the sea on a boat. There is also a shocking twist to the tale, as one of them is a wanted terrorist. The rest of the story is about how the group manages to escape from the danger. Apart from Yogi Babu, this Chumbudeven’s directorial also stars Gouri Kishan, MS Bhaskar, Chinni Jayanthi, Madhumitha, Sha Ra, Chaams, and others in crucial roles. Ghibran scored the music for the film.
