Binny and Family is the first film of Anjini Dhawan, the niece of actor Varun Dhawan. The interesting thing is this comedy drama will be released in theaters worldwide, coinciding with NTR-Koratala Siva’s Pan Indian action drama, Devara, on September 27, 2024. Before, the film was all set to be released on September 20, but the film got pushed a week later by the makers. Karan Johar, renowned and one of the top producers of Bollywood, is distributing Devara in North India, and Anjini’s film will have a tough fight at the box office with the film.
Binny and Family’s story is about a young girl who does not have good rapport with elders or old customs, which makes her parents and grandparents question her acts. The film tries to explore the generation gap between Gen Z and older people by mixing fun and emotions. The trailer shows a young girl named Binny who does not like her grandfather (Pankaj Kapur) because she loves to live independently and wants to make her own choices and decisions. Her life gets a bit disturbed when her grandparents visit her house.
Anjini Dhawan and Pankaj Kapur play the main roles in Binny and Family, while Himani Shipuri and Rajesh Kumar play the other crucial roles in the film. Ssanjay Tripathi has written and directed the film, which is backed by Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji TeleFilms, Mahaveer Jain Films, and Waveband Productions, along with Shashank Khaitan and Mrighdeep Lamba. The details of the film’s OTT partner have not been revealed yet.
