Bigg Boss Telugu 8 is completing its successful first week, with 14 contestants already in the house, sent in as pairs. Over the past week, the contestants have developed relationships with each other, earning both appreciation and criticism from fans and netizens alike, who have been closely following the housemates on their screens.
Let’s take a quick recap of how the contestants have fared so far and evaluate if they are making their best efforts to succeed. Here’s a discussion of each contestant individually:
Soniya entered the house with a best wishes byte from director Ram Gopal Varma. Her journey so far has been impressive, though it started as a mixed bag, with her creating intentional chaos. As episodes progressed, Soniya’s strong questioning and bold stand against Yashmi and Prerna during nominations highlighted her as one of the toughest contestants. She made a mark, leaving others feeling her strength. During the clan distribution task, Soniya was the last to be picked but her presence remained impactful however She appears to be dull in the last two episodes for some reasons.
Among the male contestants, Nikhil stands strong. His assertiveness and ability to take a stance for himself have helped him carve a place as a potential leader in the house. Although there may be enmity building up around him, his attitude and behavior have led many to believe that he deserves the chief position in the house.
Manikanta initially caused unnecessary drama and became a headache for viewers with his tactics and gameplay. However, things seem to have calmed down, especially after his chaotic role in the nomination process. Recently, with no significant drama surrounding him, his presence has become more tolerable, sending good vibes both to the house and to the viewers.
Just as viewers began to relax with Manikanta’s decreased drama, Seetha has stirred up unnecessary arguments with her carefree attitude, triggering other contestants. If she continues down this path without addressing her behavior properly, her journey may soon reach an end.
Yashmi appears to be the “lucky” contestant, having gained the chief position with the help of others and maintaining strong alliances throughout. She has successfully formed bonds, but seems to be taking her luck for granted by causing minor mischiefs, which is slowly creating tension among other clan members.
Nainika’s gameplay was strong right from the first task, where she won the chief position and proved her leadership capabilities. However, her presence has diminished in recent episodes, with less screen time allocated to her. She needs to step up her game to remain in the spotlight.
Abhay is playing a smart game, remaining neutral while mingling well with everyone. He strikes only when necessary, and so far, this strategy is working in his favor.
These contestants seem to be fading into the background, playing more like side characters than main participants. They need to step out of their comfort zones and cause some drama or make their screen time count before it’s too late.
Both Vishnu Priya and Prerna seem to be treating their time in the house like a casual getaway rather than a competitive show. Apart from Prerna’s argument during nominations, there hasn’t been much notable action from either of them. Vishnu Priya, despite her known status, hasn’t entertained nor created any memorable moments, leaving viewers unimpressed.
Aditya OM is perhaps the most puzzling contestant. With little to no standout moments, viewers and even fellow housemates seem to be wondering why he hasn’t been nominated yet. His passive gameplay leaves little to discuss.
Bigg Boss Telugu 8 has been an entertaining show so far with a mix of drama, strategy, and relationships forming among the contestants. With Host Akkineni Nagarjuna returning this weekend, the first elimination promises to spice things up even more. Let’s wait and see who will be the first to leave the house!
