Chetan Mundadi, an acclaimed filmmaker who has won a National Award, has recently made his film Bhavapurna available for streaming. The movie, starring Ramesh Pandit, is now accessible on Amazon Prime Video. However, it is currently only available for rent in the store. The movie also features a secondary plotline revolving around the romance between Sekhari (Atharva Prakash) and Radhe (Veenya), a relationship that is not accepted by the latter’s father, Seenappa (Manjunath Hegde). Bhavapurna’s exclusive availability on the Prime Video store is probably due to the platform’s growing hesitance in acquiring Kannada content, typically opting for hybrid agreements lasting a limited time. Titles such as Orchestra, Mysuru!, and Daredevil Musthafa were accessible for streaming for six months, while Tagarupalya is speculated to have been subject to a similar arrangement.
