Karunada Chakravarthy ShivaRajkumar’s Bhairathi Ranagal was supposed to be released on Independence Day. However, the film could not arrive on time. Shivanna (as fans call him) had taken a break from the shooting and took part in the election campaign of his wife, Geetha ShivaRajkumar, who contested the Lok Sabha Elections. While everyone expected Bhairathi Ranagal to show up in September, the makers announced a new release date.
Bhairathi Ranagal will be released in theaters worldwide on November 15, 2024, as per the producer’s official announcement. The film’s openings at the box office will benefit from Kanaka Dasa Jayanti, which falls on November 18, 2024. Bhairathi Ranagal will focus on the backstory of the titular role before he became a don, as he was shown in the first part, Mufti, which was released in 2017. It is further being said that the film will be a prequel and sequel with narrating the events before and after Mufti. However, we will have to wait until the film arrives in the theaters.
Bhairathi Ranagal also has Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead opposite ShivaRajkumar and Bollywood Actor Rahul Bose appears as the antagonist. Madhu Guruswamy, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Vasishta Simha will be seen in crucial roles. It needs to be seen whether SriMurali, from Mufti (2017), will appear in the film.
