Balakrishna is not interested in doing Aavesham Remake

A few days ago, a strong set of rumors did the rounds in the Telugu Film Industry Cirlces that Balakrishna, the renowned star and actor of TFi, is set to play the lead role in the remake of Aavesham. However, there was no official confirmation about this, and fans felt this might be a just rumor, and their intuitions are true.

According to the latest reports, Nandamuri Balakrishna has turned down the offer of Aavesham Remake. It is being said that he did not want to play the character, which has a Gray Shade. Also, it is widely known that Balayya is not that fond of remakes, and he has done only a handful of remakes in his 50-year career. Balakrishna is currently working for NBK109 under Bobby’s Direction and will collaborate with Boyapati Srinu on the sequel of Akhanda. This will be the fourth time that Balayya and Boyapati Srinu collaborated on a Film.

Aavesham, starring Fahadh Faasil in the lead role, was released as a Vishu Special in April 2024. The film opened to superb response and became a big blockbuster at the box office. The Film’s Story is about an unexpected friendship between three college students and a Don. Bibi (Mithun Jai Shankar), Aju (Hipzster), and Shanthan (Roshan Shahnavaz) are three youngsters from Kerala who enrolled in an engineering college in Bangalore. Unfortunately, they become victims of physical assault by their college seniors, prompting them to seek revenge. Aju suggests that getting local support will help them get revenge on seniors. Consequently, they form a bond with Ranga (Fahadh Faasil), a notorious local gangster. The film revolves around the impact of this newfound companionship with Ranga on the lives of Bibi, Aju, and Shanthan.
