However, he has once again openly shared his thoughts on this highly anticipated sequel.
During an interview with Connect Cine on YouTube, Kabir mentioned that he currently doesn’t have a script or storyline prepared for Bajrangi. However, he was enthusiastic about exploring various captivating approaches and concepts to enhance the film. The director mentioned that The Adventures of Bajrangi and Chand Nawab has the potential to be a promising project with various possible directions, but currently, it is missing a script. Furthermore, Bajrangi Bhaijaan facilitated the development of mutual understanding across borders and significantly promoted religious unity across the nation. Before the film’s release, Kabir explicitly stated his intention to deliver powerful political messages that would resonate with the prevailing political climate in the country. In an interview with the Indian Express, Kabir passionately articulated his unwavering beliefs in fostering harmony, upholding secularism, and fostering a sense of camaraderie among people. His upbringing in a household that embraced multiple faiths and his parents’ interfaith marriage greatly influenced his deep affection and celebration of both cultures.
Even after nine years, Salman’s fans continue to deeply admire Bajrangi Bhaijaan. It is worth mentioning that even his father, Salim Khan, considers his performance in the movie as the pinnacle of his career. Alongside Salman, Bajrangi Bhaijaan also featured Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and the talented Harshaali Malhotra, who instantly rose to stardom with her portrayal of Munni.
