Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was one of the big movies of Bollywood this year, which was released in theaters in April. Starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in the lead roles, the film ended up as a colossal failure at the box office. However, after almost six months of its theatrical release, the film is in the news for all the wrong reasons. Ronit Roy, the renowned actor in the television and film industries who played the role of Colonel Adil Shekhar Azad in the film, said that he would never work with Vashu Bhagnani, the producer of BMCM.
In a latest interview, actor Ronit Roy shared his experience with working for Pooja Entertainment’s Vashu Bhagnani, and he stated it was a painful experience. He said he was lucky as he received his part in his fees for his work in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. He added that the producer Vashu Bhagnani delayed the process of payment, and it was only accessed when Himanshu Mehra, the manager of director Ali Abbas Zafar, intervened in the issue. Ronitt said that even the dues of his staff and security company, which worked for him in Mumbai, were also very much delayed and were received due to Himanshu Mishra only.
Recently, producer Vashu Bhagnani filed a police complaint against Ali Abbas Zafar, the director of BMCM, stating that he hijacked the film’s production. The complaint was filed at Bandra Police Station on September 2, 2024. Ronit disagreed with this and informed that Vashu Bhagnani was indeed present on the set every day, and he could not believe how he did not realize the issue on the set.
