Bachubhai, a Gujarati Film, is set to arrive on OTT. The film, which starred Siddharth Randeria in the lead role, was released in theaters in July 2023. Made as a genuine Family Emotional Drama, Bachubai will be available on ShemarooMe soon. The film also stars Popular Television Actress Aparna Mehta in a crucial role.
Bachubhai’s theatrical release was in July last year, and it collected nearly 3 Crores Gross within seven days. The Gujarati Drama will arrive on OTT on August 14 and will also be available on another emerging Digital Platform, OTTplay. The film tells the story of an aged man, Bachubai, who wants to pursue his degree. The narrative focuses on his circumstances and how the qualification of a degree holder helps him face societal issues.
Apart from Siddharth Randeria as Bachubhai and Aparna Mehta as his wife Nirmala, the Gujarati family drama boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Amit Singh Thakur. Thakur is also quite famous in the television industry for working in Naagin and Punar Vivaah. He has also featured in Bollywood films such as Race 3 and Haseen Dillruba (2021). In an old interview, Aparna Mehta, who made her Gujarati Debut with Bachubhai, stated that it was an exciting journey working with Sidharth Randeria, and she wished to work with him in the future.
