Malayalam film Ayisha is all set to have its second OTT release soon. The film happens to be the first ever Indo-Arab film ever, and it was largely shot in the United Arab Imitates. Manorama Max, the Malayalam streaming platform, has bagged the digital rights of Ayisha, and the film will be available for online streaming soon.
Though the OTT release date of Ayisha is not out yet, it is certain that the film will be available for online streaming on Manorama Max in a few weeks. As said above, the major shooting of the film was done in Ras Al Khaimah, Dubai, and Mumbai, and it includes some international artists from countries like Tunisia, the UAE, the Philippines, Nigeria, Syria, and Yemen. Currently, Ayisha is available for streaming on Prime Video, and Manorama Max will make it available for more Malayalee audiences. The film tells the story of Ayisha, a single mother who faces many problems in order to travel to Riyadh and work as a domestic servant to support her family. She gets hired as a gaddama in Riyadh’s royal palace in 1988. However, it is soon discovered that Ayisha has some hidden intentions behind her arrival.
Ayisha is directed by Aamir Pallikal, and his neat execution of the narrative was praised by audiences and critics. Manju Warrier was also appreciated for his impeccable performance. Zakariya Mohammed produced the film under the Cross Border Cinema banner.
