Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is now available for all the regular subscribers of Prime Video. The romantic drama has been available to rent on the popular streaming platform for the last two weeks. The film was released in theaters on August 2, 2024, and unexpectedly ended as one of the biggest disasters of the box office. The result of AMKDT shocked the trade and industry circles.
The Oscar Award winner MM Keeravani has composed the film’s music, which was officially announced in October 2022. Initially, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha was all set to be released in theaters on July 5, 2024, but the distributors requested the makers to postpone the theatrical release because they felt that they could not provide the screens at that time because of another biggie, Kalki 2898 AD, having a good run in the theaters. So, owing to the request of the distributors, the emotional drama moved to August 2, 2024. The film was able to collect a low amount, like 12 crore net at the domestic box office.
Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha tells the story of a couple whose love story spans over two decades. Krishan is sentenced to life imprisonment because the court finds him guilty of two murders. This results in Vasudha, the lover of Krishna, getting married to another person upon the advice of the latter as he realizes that he has to spend many years in jail. Upon getting released from jail after two decades, Krishna wants to meet Vasudha for once before he leaves for Dubai. Ajay Devgn and Tabu played the lead roles in the film, which was directed by Neeraj Pandey.
