Despite the franchise’s significant following in Tamil cinema, the buzz surrounding the fourth installment was surprisingly low, with minimal promotional activity contributing to the subdued anticipation.
However, upon its release, Aranmanai 4 defied expectations and garnered praise from netizens. Within just one week, the film crossed the breakeven mark and entered the profitable zone, marking a successful venture for the franchise. Interestingly, the reception in the Telugu market, where the film was titled “Baak” and released simultaneously with the Tamil version, paints a contrasting picture.
