The All Indian Cine Workers Association strongly denounced the appalling incident and appealed to Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to enhance his security measures. The organization also highlighted the safety issue for Indian citizens, emphasizing that even the VIP area is not secure. The statement obtained by ANI expressed worry about the safety of ordinary citizens in Mumbai, mainly when Salman Khan himself is not safe. Additionally, it pointed out the audacity of gangsters firing shots during the ongoing election period.
It should be noted that on the morning of April 14, at approximately 5 a.m., two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle were observed shooting outside his residence at the Galaxy apartment in Bandra. Subsequently, a First Information Report (FIR) was filed against them. The AICWA organization, responsible for ensuring the safety of cinema workers and artists in the Indian film industry, urged Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to increase Salman’s security measures. They also urged for the removal of the criminals and groups responsible for the recent shooting incident, which has created a sense of fear and uncertainty among Bollywood celebrities. The media group later showed solidarity with Bhaijaan, referring to him as a valued member of the Bollywood community.
Following the revelation of the firing incident, numerous celebrities from the Bollywood industry and politicians have reached out to the renowned actor of Tiger 3 to ensure his welfare and security. Raj Thackeray and Mahesh Manjrekar visited Salman’s residence in Bandra, while other ministers contacted the Tiger star to address his safety concerns. Yesterday, Arbaaz Khan was also seen visiting Salman along with his wife, Sshura Khan.
