Emerging as the Vishu champion after its first weekend, Aavesham has easily surpassed other releases. The film has already grossed over Rs. 42 crores worldwide.
Based on the reports from trade experts, Aavesham has grossed approximately Rs. 42.5 crore globally by the end of its fourth day in theaters. The film, directed by Jithu Madhavan, supposedly achieved its highest daily earnings on Day 4, coinciding with its first Sunday screening and the Vishu holiday. Notably, Fahadh Faasil’s action comedy managed to rake in more than Rs. 4 crore solely from the Kerala box office on its fourth release day. Aavesham has achieved a cumulative global revenue of Rs. 9.5 crore on its initial Sunday in cinemas. Consequently, this film has also attained the highest individual box office collection for its protagonist, Fahadh Faasil, up until now. For those unaware, under the direction of Jithu Madhavan, the movie garnered Rs. 33 crore at the box office by the conclusion of its third day in theaters. However, on the fourth day, the film exhibited exceptional performance following lifting the PVR ban on Malayalam films.
If the current trend continues, Aavesham is poised to join the Rs. 50 crore club of Malayalam cinema, possibly by tonight (also marking the film’s first Monday in theaters). Given the positive feedback from viewers and the growing demand, it is reasonable to anticipate that the Fahadh Faasil-led film will surpass the Rs. 70 crore milestone at the box office by the conclusion of its first week in theaters.
