Manorama Max is an emerging OTT platform that has made its name as a destination for Malayalam cinema lovers. The platform has a good library, with many Malayalam movies available on it. Aanandhapuram Diaries is the latest film to join the list of Malayalam movies on Manorama Max. The campus thriller was considered actress Meena’s comeback to Malayalam cinema, but sadly, the film failed at the box office.
Starting September 20, 2024, Aanandhapuram Diaries will be available for streaming on Manorama Max. The announcement was made earlier, but the exact release date was revealed recently. Apart from Aanandhampuram Diaries, Manorama Max also has Dileep’s Pavi Caretaker, Swkaryam Sambhavabahulam, Mandakini, Jananam 1947 Pranayam Thudarnnu, and Jai Ganesh.
Actress Meena Sagar played the lead role in Aanandhampuram Diaries. The film’s story is about a forty-year-old woman who wants to pursue a degree as she had to discontinue her studies in the past due to some reasons. The trailer also shows some hints at the film having some crime and punishment angle as it involves the rape and murder of a girl. Aanandhampuram’s trailer also resembles some other college-based films of Mollywood. Jaya Jose Raj is the director of the film, and he also happens to be the writer. Sasi Nair produced the film under the Neil Productions banner. Manoj K Jayan, Siddharth Siva, Jaafar Idukki, Sudhir Karamana, Roshan Abdul Rahoof, Suraj Telakad, Miranair, Mala Parvathy, Jayakumar, Jayaraj Kozhikode, Devika Gopal Nair, Abhilash, Shikha, Anju Mary, and Kutty Akhil appear in the supporting roles.
