Aadujeevitham is now Streaming on OTT

Prithviraj Sukumaran’s film Aadujeevitham, also known as The Goat Life, is highly anticipated in India. After a long wait, the OTT release is finally approaching. Netflix has secured the streaming rights to this successful movie. As of today, July 19, the film is available on the OTT platform in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

Blessy’s survival drama emerged as one of the top-grossing movies in Malayalam history, receiving high praise from both critics and viewers. Prithviraj Sukumaran recently revealed the film’s upcoming OTT release through his official social media channels. Following a considerable delay, the movie, which premiered in cinemas on March 28, will soon be accessible digitally. Despite initial reports of the movie being acquired by a different prominent digital platform, the producers have now officially confirmed its release. Netflix is expected to commence streaming the Prithviraj film at midnight on Friday. The OTT version of the film is expected to have a longer runtime, as previously mentioned. During the movie’s promotions, Director Blessy had revealed earlier that the original intention for the Prithviraj Sukumaran film was for it to be much longer, with a duration of three hours and thirty minutes. In order to fit the typical running time of a theater, the makers had to cut over 30 minutes of footage from the film. Conversely, The Goat Life is expected to be released on Netflix without any edits.

The movie centers around the journey of Najeeb Muhammad and Hakim, two Malayali immigrants who travel to Saudi Arabia in pursuit of a better life, serving as the film’s main protagonists. Regrettably, they fall victim to abduction by an Arab Businessman who forces Najeeb to work as a goat herder in a desolate desert. Alongside Prithviraj and KR Gokul, the movie also stars Amala Paul, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Shobha Mohan, Talib Al Balushi, Nasar Karutheni, and various other supporting actors. Visual Romance, Jet Media Production, and Alta Global Media financially supported Aadujeevitham.
