35 Chinna Katha Kaadu, the latest family drama from Telugu Cinema, is now available for streaming on OTT. Debutant Director Nanda Kishore helmed this film, and Aha Video, the number one Telugu digital platform, has bagged the digital rights of the film and made it accessible for online streaming from October 2 evening.
The film was released in theaters last month and received exceptional reviews from audiences and critics. Reportedly, Aha paid a hefty price to acquire the digital rights of 35 Chinna Katha Kaadu. Though the film received extraordinary reviews, it did not become a blockbuster at the box office, but it did not incur losses either and ended up as a decent fare. Initially, 35 was scheduled to be released on August 15, but it was postponed to avoid competition with other films and landed in theaters in the first week of September.
The film tells the story about a middle-class family set in Tirupati temple town. Vishwadev Rachakonda and Nivetha Thomas live happily with their two kids, and though they do not have a wealthy lifestyle, they are content with what life has given them. The problems start for them when their elder kid does not understand the logic behind mathematics and starts to question teachers and elders about the same. How the parents make their son understand the math subject and encourage him to study and understand the subject is the rest of the story. 35 Chinna Katha Kaadu also stars Priyadarshi in a crucial role as math teacher, while Bhagyaraj and Gautami appear in supporting roles. Rana Daggubati, Srujan Yarabolu, and Siddharth Rallapalli financed the film under Suresh Productions, S Originals, and Waltair Productions. Vivek Sagar is the film’s music composer.
