While the fans are excited to see their favorite hero’s presence in a solo film after six years, the film is having exceptional bookings globally, and especially overseas bookings are on a rampage. Since the first day, the overseas bookings for Devara were excellent, and the film continued to maintain the flow and crossed 20 crores in overseas advance bookings.
The interesting thing is the 20 crore number is for the first day itself. Usually, for Telugu movies, the large part of collections come from North America, but Devara is registering superb bookings in other regions like the UK, Australia, and other places. The trade experts are expecting the film to mint a whopping 40 crore gross from overseas on the first day. The USA’s premier shows are expected to start around $3 million. Devara is all set for an extraordinary start at the box office, and if the talk comes positive, then the sky will be the limit for the film.
While overseas bookings are on a solid note, Devara is also poised to have a gigantic opening in the Telugu States. The Andhra Pradesh government recently permitted the ticket hike for the film, and soon the Telangana government will also officially provide the permission. All in all, Devara is comfortably placed for a massive opening at the worldwide box office.
